Downtown Dallas, Inc. is the principal advocate, champion and steward of Downtown Dallas, Texas, effecting change by developing strategies, setting targets and mobilizing resources. I’ve been creating branding and advertising materials for DDI for several years now, but this is probably my favorite piece: the Downtown Dallas Podcast logo.
It was fun doing a logo for a place I used to live. The dots connected immediately—I knew I had to draw the iconic downtown Reunion Tower, modify it like an iconic Shure SM58 microphone, and surround it with concentric circles like the Apple podcast icon.
